Chris Kennedy

Chris Kennedy, CEO and Founder

Chris founded RMI in 1988 with the goal of providing customized training to sales and marketing professionals within the healthcare industry.  His career in the healthcare industry spans four decades, giving him incomparable insight into market challenges and the knowledge and resources required to meet them through targeted, practical solutions.  The depth of Chris’ experience in the industry is evidenced by his advancement through positions at Johnson & Johnson that included Sales Representative, Sales Manager, Director of Global Sales & Marketing Development, Director of Sales, and Vice President, Sales.  Throughout his career, Chris has impacted his teams’ success by creating, implementing and directing training and development initiatives that measurably increased their productivity and profitability.

With their real world knowledge of the healthcare industry and extensive experience in leadership, training and development, Chris and the RMI team dedicate themselves to helping companies reach their next level of productivity and profitability.


Jack Addicks

Jack Addicks, Vice President/Managing Partner

Jack, as a key member of the RMI Team, specializes in sales force effectiveness solutions designed to increase the productivity and results of sales and management teams.

Four decades of healthcare leadership experience with Bard, Becton Dickinson, Cabot Medical, Aircast and ConvaTec has provided Jack with real world tactical and strategic expertise as a Sales Representative, Sales Manager, Director of Sales and Marketing, VP Sales and Global Director, Selling Effectiveness.

During the past ten years, Jack has utilized his extensive training and development experience leading training teams consulting with sales and marketing leaders throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific.


Jim McLean

Jim McLean, Senior Consultant

Jim supports RMI's clients with practical experience gained in sales, marketing, and training positions within the healthcare industry.  He also brings a unique cross-industry background in supporting clients in industries such as group health insurance, healthcare information systems, analytical instrumentation, manufacturing capital equipment and technology.

His extensive experience in healthcare sales and marketing training has been gleaned from over three decades in positions with companies such as Proctor & Gamble and American Cyanamid.  His positions included Sales Representative, Marketing Manager, and Training Director.

In addition to training and consulting with all levels of organizations, Jim shares his knowledge and experience in articles he writes for The McLean Column.

Nedo Besirevic

Nedo Besirevic, Director Europe, RMI d.o.o.

Nedo founded RMI d.o.o. in order to provide our clients with the support and expertise necessary to gain and sustain growth in the Central and Eastern European healthcare market.  He has also consulted extensively in the Middle East region.

Nedo’s extensive experience and insight have been developed over two decades in executive leadership positions with companies such as Johnson & Johnson and St. Jude Medical.

Nedo and his team at RMI d.o.o. support our clients through their delivery of our customized training and development solutions designed to increase the productivity of sales, marketing and management teams within healthcare companies, healthcare providers, as well as non-healthcare companies.


Francesco Banchi

Francesco Banchi, Managing Consultant • Europe, RMI Savjetovanje d.o.o.

Francesco founded RMI Savjetovanje d.o.o. in Croatia to support our clients in their continuous challenge to grow their businesses above the market and carefully protect their bottom line results to ensure long-term development.

Francesco's extensive experience has been developed over 15 years with Boehringer Ingelheim in leading positions in Sales and Marketing for both Prescription Medicine and Over The Counter portfolios in Spain, Austria, and in Croatia, where he started the business from its inception.

His personal trademarks are a deep understanding of Marketing and Sales gained from hands-on experience and his contagious motivational energy. Francesco delivers customized training and development solutions designed to increase the productivity of Sales, Marketing, and Management teams within the healthcare industry, as well as non-healthcare companies, in Croatia, Italy, and Spain.


Andrea Gyeresy

Andrea Gyeresy, MD MBA MSc, Managing Consultant • Europe

Andrea is a seasoned Learning & Development professional with experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotech arena.

Andrea began her commercial career as a medical device sales representative and then business unit manager in Johnson & Johnson MD&D Hungary. She progressed into organizational learning through various international and global positions in Novartis Pharma, J&J Vision Care, and Dako Cancer Diagnostics. She has a medical degree, and MBA, as well as an MSc in career coaching.

Her special expertise is in ensuring that learning is aligned with business strategies and in designing/implementing blended learning methodologies across borders, languages and varying levels of sales force capabilities.


P.R. Kalaivanan P. R. Kalaivanan, Managing Consultant, RMI • Asia Pacific
Kalai's extensive multinational experience spans leadership positions within the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors of the heathcare market. He supports our efforts with our clients in the Asia Pacific Region.

Kalai began his career in India as Medical Detailer with U.S. Vitamin and Pharmaceuticals and progressed rapidly in positions of greater responsibility, first with C.R. Bard and then with Johnson & Johnson. Prior to representing RMI, Kalai held positions such as Marketing Controller for C.R. Bard West Asia, Vice President of Sales and Managing Director for Johnson & Johnson Medical in Malaysia and Indonesia, and Vice President of Leadership Development, Johnson & Johnson Asia Pacific Region.

Kalai's passion for nurturning talent led to the creation of programs designed to teach and empower individuals to become successful leaders. As a result, his sales management programs have been widely adopted within the Asia Pacific Region. Throughout his career, Kalai has trained thousands of sales professionals in addition to mentoring many new and senior managers. He is a Certified Trainer in Situational Leadership II, Self-Situational Leadership, and a Certified Trainer in the Life Orientations (LIFO) Training Method. Kalai is also certified as an Executive Coach by Columbia University.

Ricardo Pacheco

Ricardo Pacheco, Director, RMI Latin America • Brazil

Ricardo is a key member of RMI's team and specializes in the preparation and execution of customized training and development solutions designed to increase the productivity of sales and management teams.

Ricardo supports our clients through his delivery of our customized training and development solutions designed to increase the productivity of sales and management teams in healthcare companies, healthcare providing institutions, and other industries in Brazil.  As a member of the RMI team, he also provides training and skill development to our newly appointed Latin American consultants.

Ricardo's two decades in the healthcare industry include positions with Johnson & Johnson as a Sales Representative, Training & Development Manager, Human Resource Manager, and Sales Manager.


Gordon Powers

Gordon Powers, Director, RMI Latin America • Colombia

Gordon is an experienced global sales and marketing management professional and provides the RMI team and our clients with knowledge and insight into the best practices of the international healthcare market. During his tenure with leading medical product companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic and Tyco, Gordon produced significant sales growth through sales and marketing development in Canada, Colombia, Mexico, Taiwan, China, Singapore and Puerto Rico.

An entrepreneur, Gordon is the founder and Chief Operating Officer of a medical supply company in Columbia.  His previous 15+ years have engaged him in the distribution of medical/surgical products in Latin America.  His capability to develop sales organizations through the continuous improvement of goal setting, selling and management skills has led his company to sustained sales growth. We are pleased to have his expertise, support and guidance for our clients and our team.


Juan Alejandro Gutierrez Hurtado

Juan Alejandro Gutierrez Hurtado, Consultant, RMI • Colombia

Alejandro is a training professional with over 25 years of experience with companies such as Salud Total E.P.S., Divecaf Ltda, and International De Desarrollo in which he held general management and sales management positions.  Currently, he leads training programs in marketing, sales and customer service within the healthcare sector.  He supports our clients by delivering native language, practical, easy-to-apply strategic tools to increase the productivity of managers, sales, and customer service agents.  In addition, Alejandro is a university professor specializing in teaching marketing at the master’s degree level in Columbia.


Kenmichi Takahashi

Kenmichi Takahashi, Managing Director, RMI Corporation k.k.

Kenmichi’s extensive experience in sales leadership and training in the Japanese healthcare market with companies such as Johnson & Johnson, ConvaTec, and Hollister uniquely qualifies him to support our Japan-based clients in achieving their next level of productivity.  Kenmichi’s ability to train, develop and lead healthcare corporations has been proven in his four decades in the healthcare industry where he has advanced from the positions of Sales Representative to Sales Management to President.  In additon, Kenmichi is a professor of Strategic Planning at Temple University in Tokyo.  He has been a consultant for RMI in Tokyo since 2003.
